Donations

The West Point Society of New England (WPSNE) asks that you consider making a donation toward soldiers’ causes. These causes are celebrated at our annual Founder’s Day Banquet held in March every year. This year’s banquet will be on March 28, 2009.

We are seeking donations of $250, $500 or higher to permit us to invite U. S. Military Academy candidates to the event, to give them a taste of the “Long Gray Line”. The candidates and their parents will spend the evening with old and young graduates, meet a member of the Academy’s Leadership Team, (this year the Academy’s Athletic Director) and observe the Academy’s camaraderie and tradition.

We seek only to cover the direct costs of this event. All excess funds generated over cost will be donated to two organizations: Operation Troop Support and USA Cares, both non-profit organizations that are dedicated to supporting American soldiers and their families. We are conducting a silent auction that same evening. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit these two charities.
