Congratulations to the West Point Society of New England for achieving the status of Distinguished Society! This marks our 14th consecutive year in receiving this honor.

This award recognizes those Societies that have significantly supported West Point and its graduates over the last year.  To win the award, Societies must report points in a variety of programs and activities which range from hosting a Founders Day event to supporting Cadet teams and clubs that travel to the Society’s area.

Hot News & Upcoming Events

- Hope everyone is surviving the cold winter (I’m not sure that I have bought into the whole global warming thing!). As we struggle with the absence of the Patriots from the Super Bowl (we are spoiled) and lackluster play of the Celtics and Bruins we turn our attention to the numerous upcoming Society Events and local cadet activities – go to the Events page for more details . Also if you are not a member or your membership has expired please join! We need your support to continue to help out the admissions process. More to follow on Founders Day and our annual Silent Auction. - Rick

2010 Founder’s Day Warning Order

It’s time for the Society’s biggest event of the year – our annual Founder’s Day celebration.  The event will take place once again at the Newton Marriott on March 20, 2010.  The Marriott is located at 2345 Commonwealth Avenue, just off of Route 128 in Auburndale (part of Newton). We have a fantastic line-up for our Silent Auction, which this year benefits the Veterans Training School of the New England Center for Homeless Veterans (nechv.org).

For this year’s event we will be using an on-line registration process (finally!) – we plan to “Go-Live” sometime during the week of 15-Feb (We will send out a note)

Your point of contact for questions about Founder’s Day is Doug Fitzgerald, who can be reached at 617-794-4738 or mailto:doug.fitzgerald@verizon.net.
